MOVIE REVIEW: Zombieland - Double-Tap

(Ramble On - Led Zeppelin)

Let's not faff about here.

The original Zombieland came out around 10 years ago.  Anyone interested in Zombies, humor, and razor-sharp dialogue instantly loved it.  It would have been this generation's cult classic if it hadn't done such incredible numbers in the box office.  Even still, the adoption of certain things from the movie into the lexicon of nerd culture is significant.

That's all a very fancy way of saying that it was a fantastic movie for fans of the genre.

Fast forward a decade and we all started seeing trailers for a sequel that we didn't think we would ever get, and that most of us didn't realize we even needed.  Then the fear set in, because like many movies before it, this had a staggering amount to live up to.  The story, the humor, the dialogue, the heart, and...well, the zombies.

Did they?

THE SHORT VERSION:

Yes.  Go see it.  The end.

THE LONG VERSION:

Can you not read?!  I SAID 'THE END'.  Don't make me say it again in Comic Sans.
